Single-door installation tutorial

Tools required for installation: air pump, foam filler, large air gun, air blower, table saw, level meter, small air gun, art knife, pencil, 502 glue and tape measure.

Maintenance Tips

First, daily cleaning: simple operation to maintain a smooth surface
The surface of KOJO wood-plastic products adopts weather-resistant coating technology of PUR, which is superior to traditional materials in pollution resistance. Daily use only a soft cloth dipped in neutral detergent (such as diluted detergent) to wipe, to avoid scratching with hard tools such as steel balls. Can be sprayed with 75% alcohol to dissolve grease and then wiped; For the water stain of the wood-plastic door in the bathroom, it is recommended to use a dry cloth to absorb the water in the joint every week to prevent soap scale from accumulating. Second, environmental adaptation: dynamic adjustment of temperature and humidity
Although KOJO wood-plastic products are waterproof and moistureproof (water absorption rate < 0.5%), extreme environment should be avoided:
1. High-temperature dry areas (such as ground heating houses and desert climate): regularly wipe the surface with a wet cloth to prevent the material from shrinking slightly due to excessive drying;
2. High-humidity confined space (such as windowless bathroom): keep ventilation for 30 minutes every day after installation, and dehumidifier can be used in long-term humid environment;
3. Direct ultraviolet area (such as balcony door): It is suggested to install shading curtain or use special protective wax for wood-plastic maintenance every six months to slow down ultraviolet aging.
Third, the use of taboo: to avoid the risk of physical damage
The density of KOJO wood-plastic door core material is 1.3g/cm³, and its impact resistance is better than that of ordinary wood. However, it should be noted that:
1. Avoid scratching the door leaf with sharp objects (such as keys and knives);
2. Heavy objects need to be hung with a special hook behind the door, and it is forbidden to directly nail screws;
3. The bearing capacity of furniture should meet the design standards (for example, the weight limit of wardrobe laminate is 50kg), and overload may easily lead to structural deformation.
Fourth, regular maintenance: guarding details to extend life
It is recommended to conduct a systematic inspection once every quarter:
1. Hardware maintenance: rust lubricant is sprayed on hinges and slide rails to prevent oxidation jamming;
2. Inspection of sealing strip: Measure the gap between the doors with a soft ruler. If it exceeds 3mm, adjust the door frame or replace the sealing strip;
3. Structural stability test: Shake the door/cabinet gently. If it shakes, tighten the expansion screw immediately or contact the after-sales department.
Five, damage repair: grading treatment to restore beauty
Take corresponding measures according to different damage degrees:
1. Slight scratches: Use 2000-mesh sandpaper to polish along the grain, and then apply the same color wood-plastic repair paste;
2. Local depression: heating the deformed area to 60℃ by hair dryer to soften, and flattening it with a heavy object for 24 hours;
3. Serious cracking: contact the official after-sales service of KOJO, and quickly replace the damaged parts through modular design to avoid scrapping the whole door.
